Since 1991 Nick & Vicki Sher’s passion has been to produce delicious Wagyu beef.
Based at Ballan in central Victoria, their family owned company Beefcorp Australia, breeds Fullblood and Crossbred Wagyu on Victorian farms, and manages all stages of production from paddock to plate.
Sher Wagyu beef is exported to over 14 countries and is renowned around the world by leading chefs & discerning diners.
All Sher Wagyu Fullblood cattle can be traced back to their Japanese ancestors. Fullblood bulls of the finest Wagyu bloodlines are used to produce their Crossbred cattle. In 1996 Nick Sher pioneered in Australia the breeding of Wagyu x Holstein, the traditional Japanese F1, which produces outstanding beef over a range of marble scores. Higher percentage Wagyu Crossbred (F2 & F3) are also produced.
Sher Wagyu beef is marketed as Sher Black in Japan, as Japanese regulations restrict the use of the word wagyu to beef produced in Japan
